{"id":3977,"date":"2023-08-29T09:11:26","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T09:11:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bzsos.pl\/?page_id=3977"},"modified":"2024-09-24T14:03:49","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T14:03:49","slug":"our-results-for-last-year","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bzsos.pl\/en\/our-results-for-last-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Our results for last year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n    <div class=\"cb__text-container grid gap\">\n                    <div class=\"cb__text cb__mobile-row start-2 end-6 start-md-1 end-md-13\"><p><strong>We collected a total of almost 2.2 million kilograms of food<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, we collected a total of <strong>2,181,062.74\u00a0kg of food worth PLN 27,938,655.92.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Food saved from going to waste<\/strong> \u2013 food products that would otherwise be thrown away, e.g. due to the approaching expiry dates. We receive it for free from food manufacturing, processing and distribution companies, from farmers, and from stores.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Food collected during public collection events<\/strong> \u2013 they are typically products collected during our collection events at stores (e.g. during the Holiday Food Collection Event), among farmers and sellers at Warsaw\u2019s marketplaces and the Warsaw Agricultural and Grocery Wholesale Market (Warszawski Rolno-Spo\u017cywczy Rynek Hurtowy S.A.) in Bronisze, among company employees, and during one-off collection events. Thanks to our collection events, we are able to collect food with expiry dates farther in the future that is not at risk of being wasted and that we would have otherwise not been able to procure in the course of our regular activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Foodstuffs received within the Food Aid Operation Programme 2014-2020 (Program Operacyjny Pomoc \u017bywno\u015bciowa 2014-2020)<\/strong> \u2013 they are food items manufactured in order to provide food assistance to people with low incomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Food items at risk of being wasted are the main category among those we hand out to people in need.
